One year old male chinchilla. He is a great pet and fun to watch and play with. Chinchillas themselves are a little pricy to buy but their food and supplies are very minimal in cost after the initial investment. They are easy and low maintenance pets and have much more personality and are much more fun than a guinea pig or a hamster! They eat with their front paws like a racoon and their fur is the softest you will EVER feel. He came from a chinchilla breeder, not a pet store. Please do research online about caring for a chinchilla before you consider purchasing one because while not difficult to care for, they do have specific needs that need to be known by their owner...such as not getting them wet, what kind of a pen they require, etc.
